Gahanbar Ceremonies in Toronto, San Jose and Westminster
Different Zoroastrian organizations in different parts of the world are going to celebrate Gahanbar on the weekend of September 13-14 , 2008.
Zoroastrian Society of Ontario is going to hold Fasli Gahanbar at the Zoroastrian Darbe Mehr in Toronto-Canada. The program starts at 11AM on Sunday September 14,2008 and will continue with prayers and speech (Moobed Kerman Katrak). Persian Lunch and dessert will be served at the end.
In Northern California, Persian Zoroastrian Society is going to celebrate Gahanbar Payteh Shahamgah on Saturday September 13, 2008. This event will be held in Rostam and Morvarid Guiv Dar-e-Mehr in San Jose and will start at 10AM by Avesta recitation
California Zoroastrian Center is also celebrating Gahanbar Payteh Shahamgah on Sunday Sep 14 at 11AM in Morvarid Hall in Westminster. The Gahanbar will be followed by traditional Gahanbar lunch.
