Zoroastrian Association of Metropolitan Washington Celebrated Mehrgan
Rostam Shirmardian: Zoroastrian Association of Metropolitan Washington Inc (ZAMWI) celebrated Mehrgan on Sunday, Oct 5 in McLean, Virginia.
"ZAMWI Mehrgan celebration included recital of Yata Ahu and Ashem Vohu prayers with every body holding hands, and a Farsi and English explanation of Mehrgan festival". Ardeshir Bakhtiani, ZAMWI president told WZNN. It was a pot luck style event and it ended with food and deserts brought by attendees.
